    Clubs & Activities

Extracurricular clubs and activities provide students with opportunities to pursue passions and enrich their educational experiences.   At Belgravia, staff work in partnership with our school community to offer these types of involvements for our students. Most clubs and activities are available at no cost to students with expenses covered by the Belgravia School Council. Some of our clubs this year can be seen on this list, and others will be added at the year progresses (see Clubs & Activities page to see the list)

    SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Belgravia's strong emphasis on outstanding student achievement and development of the whole child reflects the values and expectations of the academic/professional community in which it is located. Students are challenged and enriched through a strong academic focus, as well as a significant array of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. All classrooms are inclusive teaching and learning areas. Frequent cross-grade activities give the school a carefully-nurtured "family" atmosphere, which is reinforced by supportive parental involvement.

Welcome

The small and intimate nature of the school, the values held by the school, parents and the community, and the high degree of parent and community support and involvement all contribute to a positive environment. “Buddy Reading”, cross-grade events and our student citizenship and leadership initiatives reinforce a sense of community among the students. A general sense of caring, consideration and respect among students, staff and parents
is prevalent.

The new school year begins Tuesday, September 5 2023
